 “The Medicine of Beauty”
Featuring New Works by Susan Cheatham
In this exhibition, Susan presents a vibrant collection of impressionistic paintings, including new compositions, innovative formats, and abstractions inspired by National Parks, Down East landscapes, and gardens discovered during her travels. Through her expressive use of color and light, she invites viewers to reconnect with the beauty that surrounds us every day. Susan’s paintings celebrate the peaceful places we often overlook in our busy lives—places that inspire reflection, joy, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world. Her goal is to share these moments of beauty and encourage others to slow down and experience the restorative power of nature.

Meet the artist, enjoy refreshments, and experience this inspiring exhibition celebrating the
beauty of the places we call home.

          Open Studio

Help Broad Strokes Gallery create a new tradition.

Every 1st and third Monday, 9 am to noon, we will provide space in the back of the main gallery to
set up and paint. This will not be a workshop. It will be an opportunity to bring your own reference material and paint with other artists.

Tables will be available

Bring your easel, canvas/paper, paper towels, paints, odorless solvent, water container and any other materials you usually use.

Canvas or panels under 16 x 20” would be best.

We will offer still life and perhaps a model
in future sessions.

This is a no cost, on going activity.

We look forward to seeing you.
